Our two main characters are not very appealing, as the male is an angry-looking Dante ripoff while the hot pink sweater on the girl is laughable at best. Oh no. Let this be an indicator of the quality regarding many of the original sprites in the hack, folks. Now we get the choice for our two main heroes.
It's setting up the sequence of events nicely. Is it just my memory playing tricks on me, or is that Pokemon I just remembered. I think something very very odd has happened. Narration: "But that Pokemon looks strange. (and doesn't sound quite right as it makes the Azurill noise). We also learn that our character is an amnesiac. Upon starting the game, we are greeted by Birch and his beard.
Pokemon Snakewood is a Ruby rom hack released in 2010 or so by a man called Cutlerine.
