After that game I decided to do some research into how this Regieleki set fairs against the Top Meta threats of Series 7 (so far). Then I used Electro Ball into the Glastrier. But Dusclops got one shot by Electro Ball and Glastrier protected Turn 1. "Surely Electro Ball and Rock Slide is enough to kill dusclops right?". The opponent lead Glastrier + Dusclops, I lead Landorus-T + Regieleki. Then I took him onto competitive ladder and came across a hard trick room team. So… I took my regieleki to Lady Clear, gave him all the items and moves that he wanted and forced him to drink 26 consecutive bottles of Calcium until his Special Attack stat was at a measly 328 (or 167 in VGC ruleset).
Now obviously I saw this and realised that Electro Web is only for speed control, and that Volt Switch is only to pivot out of bad situations such as bad leads, and that Electro Ball and Thunderbolt are the two biggest key damage dealers.
I was looking into what Regieleki sets are popular right now, and saw that Pikalytics said that he (it looks like a male please don't cancel me) is most commonly running Choice Specs, Modest, 4HP 252 SpA 252 Spe w/ Electro Web, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt and Electro Ball.
